Privacy Notice

Last updated: 26 August 2026

01Who is responsible

This site is a personal portfolio, not a commercial service. The person responsible for it — the data controller — is Pietro Dondi, reachable at pdondiw@gmail.com.

02What is measured

Visits are counted with Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on the same server as this site. That distinction matters: the measurement data is never sent to an analytics company, because there isn’t one.

03Video content from YouTube

Several projects on this site include trailers and gameplay videos hosted on YouTube, operated by Google. Because those videos are embedded from Google’s servers rather than mine, your IP address is sent to Google when this page loads and when you open or play one of them.

What Google does with that information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, not by this notice. I have no control over it and receive nothing from it.

The videos use YouTube’s youtube-nocookie.com domain, which withholds Google’s advertising cookies until a video is actually played — but it does not, and cannot, prevent your IP address from reaching Google.

04If you get in touch

The contact buttons open your own email client, or an external profile on LinkedIn, GitHub, Steam or bold.pro. This site has no form and receives nothing directly. Following an outbound link takes you to a service with its own privacy policy.

If you email me, I keep the message for as long as it takes to reply and to handle anything that follows from it.

05Why this is lawful

Analytics — legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: knowing whether the site reaches anyone, using the least intrusive method available. No consent banner is shown because no cookies or comparable identifiers are used by this site.

Email correspondence — Art. 6(1)(b) where you are enquiring about work, or Art. 6(1)(f) otherwise.

06How long anything is kept

Aggregate statistics are retained indefinitely. They are anonymous and cannot be traced back to an individual, so retaining them creates no ongoing exposure. Email is kept while the exchange remains relevant.

07Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to its processing (Art. 15–22).

One honest caveat: because the analytics data holds nothing that identifies you, I cannot locate you within it — so in practice these rights apply to any email correspondence between us. Write to pdondiw@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

08Changes

This notice is versioned with the site’s source. Any material change will be dated at the top of this page.
